Other Guidelines:
All students enrolling for the first time must
present a birth certificate and up-to-date immunization record prior to
admission in accordance with the state and local requirements. In
the case of the application of a "special needs" child (learning
disability, behavioral disability, etc.), the Individualized Education
Plan (IEP) of the student from a previous school must be received and will
be considered by the Principal and the Resource Room Teacher of St.
Mark’s.
All students transferring to St. Mark’s in K-8th grade will be
considered for enrollment only after completion of the following:
1. St. Mark's School has received a completed application form.
2. Their most recent report card from the child's previous school
and standardized
test scores have been received by St. Mark’s.
3. The child has met with an assigned teacher to take an enrollment
examination to determine the student’s level of achievement.
The Principal and Teachers will then
determine through the above means whether or not to accept the applicant(s)
for enrollment. Even upon acceptance, such children will be enrolled on a
probationary basis. All enrollments are for one school year and must
be reviewed annually.
