Nursery Information

We provide a combined
Infant and Toddler Nursery for your convenience for infants-age 4. We love
children here at St. Mark’s and have a special place to help you take care
of them! The Nursery is more than just babysitting... it’s a
ministry! Jesus loves your children so much and we love being able to tell
and show them this in our Nursery each Sunday morning.
Our Nursery is available during the following times:
8:30 a.m.-Service
9:45 a.m.-Sunday School
11:00 a.m.-Service
Caring Volunteers
Our Nursery is filled with loving and caring volunteers who love Jesus and love children! Our Nursery volunteers don’t simply "baby-sit" your children; they build relationships with them and teach them about how much Jesus loves them!

2 - 4 year old
All Sunday morning programs are held at 9:45 a.m.
Parents and Two’s Class: Lower Level of the Gym
Description: A hands on class where parent and child learn together! Parents join children in this class while being led by a loving facilitator. Basic Bible stories are learned each week. Parents learn techniques to help teach their children about Jesus.
Three’s Class: Location: Classroom Location-By Worship Center
Description: 3 year olds learn by experiencing their world through their senses, through social interaction, and through physical movement. What an exciting time for a child! In this class, children will learn in a hand on and fun way. Children will work together to discover and explore Bible truths and develop their relationship with Jesus. The "three’s" teachers are loving individuals and truly care about the little ones they lead! Parents do not need to accompany children (as in the two’s class) but are always welcome to join in, help, and observe.
Four’s Class: Location: Location-By Worship Center
Description: There’s nothing quite as exciting as introducing a group of preschoolers to the love of God! For young children everything is an adventure and an opportunity for wonder. The four’s class helps launch young children on their lifelong journey of knowing, loving, and following their Savior, Jesus, and learning about how He loves us no matter what! Teachers are excited to share the truth of God’s Word.
Little Worship: Ages 4yrs. -
1st Grade:
Little Worship is a
transition time for children to join in big Worship. This is a completely
optional time for families. With the new worship schedule change, we will
begin today with Little Worship going through
first grade. This is a time for
children to have a message at their own level during the sermon teaching
time. Please feel free to take advantage of this opportunity if it works
with your family.
Discovery Kid’s Zone: Kindergarten-4th Grade:
This adventure begins in the gym on Sunday mornings. Children are in groups according to their grade (K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th). Each week children will rotate through Discovery Centers that feature singing, drama, crafts, games, snacks, or a surprise station all teaching the same Bible story! At every stop they will experience Bible learning in small groups. Within their small group children will form friendships with a leader, with other kids, and most importantly, with God. And each Discovery Center provides a unique Bible learning experience that’s both fun and memorable. You DON’T want to miss it!
5th and 6th Grade

Ministries
Club 56 is a monthly, (meets in St. Mark's gym on a Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.), ministry geared towards youth in the 5th and 6th grades. The meetings will be:
Level-101: Fellowship
-
Club 56 serves in helping youth reach out to others, get connected, and hear the Gospel of Jesus. During this time kids will eat pizza, have open gym, play crazy and wild games and hear the Gospel of Jesus through a devotion, skit, or game! Each evening is centered around a theme. Club 56 dates are listed in the Scribe, bulletin and posted around church. Cost is $2.00 per child.

Sunday Morning Small Group Bible Study:

Come join in on Sunday mornings in the Lobby located by the gym for a Bible study just for you! Our small group Bible study meets each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. Come enjoy the comfy bean bag chairs and talk about your week and things going on in your daily life with caring adult leaders. Bible studies are topical and relate to a preteen’s daily life. Come and grow in your relationship with Jesus and get to know other youth your age! You don't want to miss it!

Pre-Confirmation, Wednesday Nights

Are you ready for the next level? Interested in going to Confirmation class soon? Come and learn more about God’s Word in our daily life and what you believe! Ask questions about your faith and dig into God’s Word to find the answer! Classes meet with Mrs. Armbruster on Wed. evenings from 6:30-8:00 in room 104 of the school.
3rd Grade Walk through the Bible presentation:
Each year the Children’s Ministry makes available the Faith Alive Bible to third grade children. Gifting third grade children with a Bible is one way we celebrate one of several Faith Stepping Stones in your child’s life. We will be having a THIRD GRADE BIBLE PRESENTATION at the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services. We will also be offering a class for parents and children to attend together where we will “Walk Through” the bible and learn more about how to apply it to our life! Parents choose a Bible verse to share with their child as they present the Bible to him/her at the Altar.
