Meet our Church Staff. In
addition to these workers, St. Mark's has an Office Manager
and Bookkeeper. Many other volunteers keep the church operating in an
efficient and helpful manner.

Pastor John
Lead Pastor |
Pastor John Jameson has served as a pastor of St. Mark’s since
January of 1997 and has been Lead Pastor of St. Mark’s since 2005.
He has a B.A. degree in Computer Science from the University of
California, San Diego, and graduated from Concordia Seminary, St.
Louis, with a M. Div. degree in 1990. In addition, he received a
diploma of completion from the Pastoral Leadership Institute in 2005.
He and his wife, Vicki, have four children. Pastor John’s
favorite quote comes from his late great Uncle Owen: “Everything in
moderation, including moderation." |

Pastor Bob
Liebmann
Director of Youth Ministries |
Pastor Bob Liebmann
has been at St. Mark’s since 2001. He is a 1999 graduate from
Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and serves St. Mark’s as the Director
of Youth Ministries. He coordinates and leads classes, mission
trips, fun outings, and service projects for students from 7th
grade to college age. He and his
wife, Jeannine, have three sons. Pastor Bob’s favorite quote is
from Albus Dumbledore: “Youth cannot know
how age thinks and feels. But old men are guilty if they forget what
it was to be young.”

Lauren Bates
Director of Children's Ministry |
Lauren
Bates came to St. Mark’s in 2004 to be the Director of Children’s
Ministries (conception through 6th grade). She is a 2004
graduate of Concordia University, Seward, and has a degree in
Theology with an emphasis in Youth and Family Ministries. She is a
certified Director of Christian Education. In 2006 she was given
the “Outstanding New DCE” award by the Lutheran Education
Association. Lauren is married to Andy. Lauren’s favorite quote:
“Always remember you are unique . . . just like everyone else!”

Sue Templeton
School Principal |
Sue Templeton joined St. Mark’s staff as principal in July of
2005. She graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska, in 1989 with
a B.S. in Elementary Education/Special Education. She taught in
Missouri and California before completing her Master’s Degree in 1999
in Elementary Administration through Concordia University, Nebraska.
She has been involved in administrative work since 2000. Previous
administrative experience was at Immanuel Lutheran School, St.
Charles. She and her husband Keith have two young daughters. Sue’s
favorite quote is from H. Jackson Brown, Jr.: “Life doesn’t require
that we be the best, only that we try our best.”

Marty
Loeffler
Connecting Director |
Marty
Loeffler joined the St. Mark’s staff as Connecting Director in 2008.
His background and expertise in the corporate world have given him an
excellent grasp of the need for positive connections and commitments
among the members of the body of Christ. His responsibilities include
connecting people into relationships and service opportunities.
He and his wife, Denise, have two children. Marty’s favorite
quote: “There is nothing more powerful than a made up mind.”

Chris Hardgrave
Bookkeeper |
Chris
Hardgrave has been part-time bookkeeper at St. Mark’s since December of
2006. She has 33 years of experience as an office manager/bookkeeper
for a sales representative corporation. Chris attended St. Louis
Community College and Columbia College in St. Louis with accounting and
computer science credits totaling 54 credit hours. Chris’ favorite
quote: “Pay it forward.”

Chris
Rowan
Administrative Assistant

Chris Rowan
has been the administrative assistant at St. Mark’s since February of
1999. She brought 5 years of experience through Green Park Lutheran
School with her to the job. Chris coordinates activities for the church
and school, oversees scheduling of facilities, and manages much of the
communication connected to various groups and ministries at St. Mark’s.
She and her husband, Chuck, have one adult son. Chris’ favorite
quote: “Go Cards!”
