Lutheran High School West Update
Since May, 2003, the Lutheran High School Association
has been exploring the possibility of establishing a third Lutheran
High School in the West County area. After many task force meetings,
parent forums, cost analyses, and meetings with the surrounding
congregations, the Lutheran High School Association approved the
following motion: “Considering our ministry model of congregational
support, and the current absence of sufficient congregational
support in the West County area, the Association concludes
consideration of the establishment of a Lutheran High School in West
County.” The Association is willing to work with families interested
in Lutheran secondary education to overcome their obstacles to
attend Lutheran South and Lutheran North.
