Acts 2:42 says, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
Relationships are important. God has secured an eternal relationship with us and Him through Jesus. He also puts us in a family – a church family – so that we can live out what it means to belong to Him.
At St. Mark’s, you will be encouraged to build relationships with others both inside the family and outside the family. One of the ways we help you do this is through participation in a 242 Group. A 242 Group is a small group (usually 3-12) of people who gather together consistently for encouragement, prayer, study, and fun. The relationships that are built through these group interactions help us navigate through the daily joys and difficulties of life.
